General Info

This species thrives mainly in Central Africa, often in rainforests, and is abundant in Ivory Coast.

Sipo trees are huge and massive. They reach a height of 45 to 49 m, their trunks are straight and cylindrical and have diameters that can reach up to 2.3 m.

The color is red or purplish-brown.

Common names: Sipo, Utile, Assie, Kos-kosi, Assi.
