SCANDINAVIAN RED WOOD
PINE or RED WOOD
It is dryer wood with increased mechanical strength, to minimize distortions. Pine is rose wood, easy to process & with a nice finish. It is used in carpentry, in furniture making, on visible roofs, pergolas, terraces, linings as well as on indoor and outdoor floors. It comes from forests of Scandinavian countries and mainly Finland and Sweden.
SPRICE (PICEA ABIES)
It is soft to medium hard, moderately elastic. It has good stability, little shrinkage, good drying and easy processing. The transverse section is yellow-white or white-red and usually gives oval roses.
Under certain conditions it withstands weather conditions. Net density at 15% humidity: 0.47 g/cm3
SAWN TIMBER
Basically what we call construction timber. It is applied in almost all stages of construction and is mainly intended for construction and other uses (furniture, parquet, frames, roofs, loggias). It is a general term for pieces of wood from logs sawn on all 4 sides.
The different types of saws relate to the dimensions and methods of cutting the log.
